Assessment for Growth, Not Just Grades

We believe assessment should guide learning, not just measure it. Our academic year is divided into three terms. Each term includes:

Summative Assessments– Comprehensive evaluations conducted at key points within the term to measure understanding and mastery of the curriculum.

Midterm Exam– A structured assessment halfway through the term to review and consolidate learning.

Final Term Exam – An end-of-term examination to assess overall achievement and readiness for the next stage.

Mock exams: IGCSE-style mock exams designed to prepare candidates with an authentic examination experience and effective exam practice.

At the end of Grade 10, students sit for the official Cambridge IGCSE board examinations, which provide internationally recognized grades for higher education admissions.

Personalized Support for Every Learner

We understand that every child learns at their own pace. For students who fall behind or need additional support, we provide one-to-one sit-down sessions. These personalized interventions help identify learning gaps, rebuild confidence, and ensure no student is left behind.

World-Class Facilities for Hands-On Learning

Our students learn by doing. To bring the curriculum to life, we provide access to:

Physics and Chemistry Labs – Fully equipped laboratories allowing students to explore scientific concepts through practical experiments and investigations.

Robotics Lab – A dedicated space for innovation, featuring 3D model learning facilities and digital projectors for presentations, prototyping, and interactive design projects.

Computer Lab– A modern computer lab with high-performance desktop computers, high-speed internet, and essential software applications, enabling students to develop digital skills, conduct research, and complete subject-based assignments in a technology-rich environment.

Values We Instill

Through our Cambridge Higher Secondary Programme, students develop essential life values and skills, including:

Critical Thinking – Analyzing complex problems, evaluating evidence, and making reasoned decisions.

Independence – Taking ownership of their own learning, time management, and goals.

Resilience – Overcoming challenges and persisting through difficult academic material.

Research Skills – Gathering, evaluating, and presenting information from multiple sources.

Global Awareness – Understanding different cultures and global issues, reinforced through our Global Perspectives subject.

Workshops for Continuous Enrichment

Learning extends beyond the classroom. We regularly conduct workshops on a variety of topics from examination techniques and past paper practice to career guidance and university application preparation. These workshops involve students, teachers, and parents, creating a strong and supportive learning community.

Preparing for University and Beyond

By the end of Grade 10, students are fully prepared for the challenges of Cambridge A-Levels, IB Diploma. They leave the Higher Secondary Programme not only with strong IGCSE grades but also with curiosity, resilience, and integrity to succeed at the university level and beyond.

Join us at Smart Innovations School as we continue to nurture confident, capable, and compassionate learners – from inquiry to excellence, from Primary School Programme to IGCSE.
